Wow! Web 2.0 is exciting and scary at the same time. I had heard of this technology, but never thought much about it. I don't know how soon I will use this technology in the Reference Department I work in, but our Director uses it for posting news and photos on our website. She is a great advocate for technology.
My mind is stirring with ideas on how this could benefit our patrons. There are many instances when I explain things via email that could be better explained through the use of Web 2.0. I would be able to show and not just explain.
I'm not afraid of new technologies, but like anything new, it's hard to wrap your mind around it at first. Young people are using this like it's nothing. My sons transfer pictures and video clips via their cell phones all the time.
I have many questions at this point, but am not even sure of what to ask yet.
